WHAT EXACTLY IS
YOUR PET EATING?
You may be unknowingly making your beloved pet sick by feeding him/her food that is preserved with chemicals, contains animal by-products, or unhealthy fillers. As a nation, we spend more than $20 billion or more annually on pet foods and treats, yet we don’t know how to read pet food labels. Most people don’t realize that the most popular pet foods contain chemical preservatives and by-products that are unfit for human consumption. These by-products include decayed meat, animal digest, feet, beaks, hair and all internal organs. There is no governmental agency watching over what goes in pet foods. It is totally up to you, the pet owner, to watch out for the nutritional well being of your pet.
Please be sure to read labels carefully! Pets are not supposed to eat people food but if made correctly and specifically for them with additives and nutritional supplements specificaly for animals, you can get very creative. I personally make all my food for my three dogs. I boil chicken, scramble eggs, prepare dishes, etc. but what they love most are my loaves. I combine various meat (i.e., ground turkey, ground beef, ground bison, ground pork, ground lamb with pureed vegetables, doggy supplements, flaxseed, wheat germ, rolled oats, yogurt, eggs, seasoning, etc. into their meat to make a fantastic healthy "meat"loaf. They have been so healthy. No more skin problems, no more ear problems, allergies, gas, etc. The big plus is they absolutely, positively without a doubt L-O-V-E it! The only dry food that I will mix with my loaves, boiled chicken, organic broths, etc. is Flint River Ranch (FRR). FRR can only be purchased online. See below. Flint River Ranch Representative #122627 Lucky was our first dog as a family. She was a "dumpster" dog found in Oakland, rummaging through the garbages and dumpsters for food. When we brought her home she was very particular (and still is) about what she eats! She walks away from food and won't eat it. Flint River Ranch is the only dry food that we found that she loves getting the delivery right to our door and knows what it is and actually begs, "sitting pretty" for an immediate taste! Other food we have to "doctor" up or add a little boiled chicken or something. Although, she still loves the boiled chicken added, she will eat the Flint River Ranch right from the bag! Roxy, our Rotweiler puppy came to us because the breeder could not get her to eat - she was very picky. She was the runt of the litter. The people who originally reserved her for purchase from the breeder decided not to buy her. Turned out no one wanted to pay full price for an underweight, runt Rottweiler puppy who happened to be a very picky eater. So she was surrendered to a rescue organization and that's where we she found us! Our house is like the food capital for dogs! No dog has ever turned down a meal in this house! She has thrived ever since and is doing great, She is a perfect size, no medical problems and is 85 pounds at 11-months-old in April 2010. She loves her loaves and the Dry-Water FRR and Adult/Puppy Kibble! Flint River Ranch Representative #122627 Lucky was our first dog as a family.
